MultiScrape
Two-stage web research for agents: ranked context first, full pages only on request.
MultiScrape gives an agent a fast first pass over the web — expanded related queries, concurrent search, deduplication and ranking — before it ever pays the cost of fetching a full page. A second call fetches only the pages that turned out to matter.
What it does
- POST /v1/context expands a query into related queries, searches them concurrently, deduplicates and ranks the results, and returns up to 20 title/snippet/URL records without fetching any page body.
- Follow-up evidence-fetch calls retrieve a specific page with a five-second default deadline, using pinned direct HTTP first and a browser fallback only when needed — no BeautifulSoup step, and response caching is disabled.
- A recorded production benchmark returned 20 complete search-result records in 1,985 ms of server time (3,050 ms client-observed), then fetched a 17,560-character article in 818 ms. This is one recorded run, not a guaranteed SLA.
Endpoint contract
“Public” routes execute without credentials. “Auth-boundary” routes reject unauthenticated calls — that proves the route exists and is protected, not that it has been exercised end-to-end with a paid key.

Current limitations
- RapidAPI does not proxy the /mcp/ route — direct MCP access needs a separately scoped key and is not available merely because the MCP server is configured.
- The 1,985 ms / 818 ms benchmark above is a single recorded production run, not an averaged or guaranteed response time.
- Response caching is deliberately disabled, so repeated identical queries are billed and latency-charged again each time.
